Passionate followers of the actress are urging that a man who jumped a fence and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the performers made its way down a yellow carpet surrounded by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram account features recordings of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a punishable act," commented an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user wrote.

Followers Voice Worry Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Several followers criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another message on Instagram.

Some attendees also questioned security officers at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for online networks to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore attendees had lined up to meet the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be launched on November 21, is the sequel of a two-part interpretation of the acclaimed theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two distinct characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of the previous year in the UK, and earned a dozen Oscar nominations, winning several for best costume and production design.
